I Do. Do you Bantu?

Today was my lucky day. I set my hair in medium-sized Bantu Knots before bed last night with complete intentions of rocking a full-on curly ‘fro for work today. But at morning knot takedown,  I made a pleasant discovery.

The a.m. Bantu Take down:

The method I use for my  Bantu Knot out is to two-strand twist first, then twirl that twist into a little bun. But this morning, while unraveling my Knots, I realized that I really liked my unseparated and kind of ringlet’y two-strand twist out.  The Knot out gave my twists the effect of a roller set.

The Final look:

I got a lot of compliments on my hair today. This is a prime example of one of the things that I enjoy about being a curly. When you’re not even expecting it, your curls can reveal to you many beautiful looks.

Now I have fresh addition to my style archive.
